Mission and Principles
Advance equitable opportunities for girls and women through education, health dignity, and economic empowerment.
A resilient and inclusive society where every girl and woman can thrive and lead without barriers.
Compassion, accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and respect for community leadership.
A Message from our Executive Director
"Every girl and woman in Northeast Nigeria deserves dignity, safety, and equitable opportunity to thrive."
Since our registration in 2018, ZEGCAWIS has grown from a bold vision into a resilient, community-led organization advancing gender equality, rights protection, and recovery for women, girls, and vulnerable populations.
What distinguishes our approach is the depth of local engagement. We work with communities, institutions, and partners to deliver sustainable, locally owned impact with measurable outcomes.
As we look ahead, our commitment remains clear: strengthen inclusive SRHR services, support girls to complete quality education, intensify survivor-centered GBV response, and expand inclusion for persons with disabilities.
