Who We Are
To ensure the rights of women, girls, and children are protected and supported so they can fulfill their full potential.
To build resilient communities where women and girls live with dignity, access opportunities, and lead change.
Gender sensitivity, accountability, transparency, integrity, respect, and leadership.
A Message from our Executive Director
"Every girl and woman in Northeast Nigeria deserves dignity, safety, opportunity, and the power to shape her own future."
Since our registration in 2018, ZEGCAWIS has grown from a bold vision into a resilient, community-driven organization advancing gender equality, rights protection, and recovery for women, girls, and vulnerable populations.
What distinguishes us is the depth of our local engagement. We work with communities, institutions, civil society, and partners to deliver sustainable, locally owned change that improves lives in measurable ways.
As we move forward, our commitment remains clear: strengthen inclusive SRHR services, keep girls in school, intensify survivor-centered GBV response, and expand opportunities for persons with disabilities.
