ZEGCAWIS successfully concluded another cycle of the Give-Well Child Health Campaign, funded by Dimagi, across MMC and Jere LGAs of Borno State, demonstrating the impact of combining digital innovation with community-led action. With the support of frontline health workers and CommCare Connect, 30,130 essential health services were delivered to children under five, including MUAC screening and the distribution of ORS and Zinc tablets, ensuring real-time data capture, faster referrals, and stronger accountability across Gamboru, London Ciki, and Old Maiduguri. Through nutrition screening and referral linkages, 280 children were identified as severely malnourished and 1,340 as moderately malnourished, with all cases immediately referred to appropriate health facilities, reinforcing how technology, data, and human-centered care work together to save lives.
