ZEGCAWIS Executive Director Honored by NUBOSS for Exceptional Leadership and Youth Development Impact

The Executive Director of ZEGCAWIS has been recognized with an award of excellence by the National Union of Borno State Students (NUBOSS) for outstanding leadership and contributions to youth empowerment and social development. Through the Malala Fund project, ZEGCAWIS has worked closely with NUBOSS, the Borno State Children’s Parliament, and the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) to advance social justice and equitable opportunities for girls. Together, these collaborations have driven impactful outreaches, school sensitizations, and community campaigns promoting girl-child education, menstrual hygiene management, and parental support for learning. This recognition reflects the strength of youth partnerships in amplifying advocacy, fostering leadership, and ensuring that young people’s voices shape the movement for gender equality and inclusive education in Borno State.
